Printing a Printer Status Report on the HP OfficeJet 4650 Printer | HP OfficeJet | HP

This video shows how to print a Printer Status
Report on the HP OfficeJet 4650 printer. The Printer Status Report provides useful
information about your printer and can be useful for troubleshooting. First, power on the printer. Slide out the input tray. Align a stack of plain, white paper on a flat
surface and load it into the input tray. Slide the paper width guides in until they
stop on the edge of the paper. Do not push the guides in so tightly that
they bend the paper. Slide in the input tray. On the printer’s control panel, touch Yes
to confirm you loaded plain white paper. Swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup. Touch Tools. Swipe up and touch Print Status Reports. If the Printer Status Report prints successfully,
you know the printer is working correctly. If you are still having problems printing
from your computer, the causes might be your connection, your
computer, or the printing software. The Printer Status Report also provides Product
Information, Connectivity Settings, Estimated Ink Levels, and other helpful information
for troubleshooting. You can find additional helpful videos at

  • What is wrong with my printer if it only prints the 3 color bars in the middle of the page and the brackets in the middle of the page….and nothing else? If it was low ink nothing would have printed…Can somebody help me with this enigma?
