How to restore your WhatsApp chat history on Android

How to restore your WhatsApp chat history on Android If you’re switching to a new Android
phone and keeping the same phone number, you can easily restore your WhatsApp
chat history using your Google Drive backup. To start, install and open WhatsApp on your new phone. Review the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages. Tap Agree and Continue to accept the Terms of Service. Enter your phone number and follow
the prompts to verify your WhatsApp account. After verifying your phone number, tap Continue then Allow to give WhatsApp access to your contacts. Tap allow again to give WhatsApp
access to your photos, media, and files. Review the information provided on the prior
backup found such as date, time, and size. If it looks correct, tap RESTORE then NEXT. Enter your name and if desired
upload a profile photo. Tap NEXT. Select a frequency for your future backups to
occur, for example, on a weekly basis. Select or add the same Google Account
your backup was created on. If restoring doesn’t work, check your internet
connection and available phone space. Also confirm you’re using the same
Google account your backup was stored on. To see more WhatsApp tutorials,
