Talwar just means sword lol
0:47 when my school counselor tells me I have depression
And the winged hussars arrived..!!
Can you do one with axes next?
Hussar saber is the best "sword type" weapon of all times. With hussar saber you can train all fight styles – you can fight with western european knights style, you can fight using arabian/ ottoman style or even you can use hussar saber to train with it like japanse katana. It is great weapon and so stylish… Poles were very well trained using that type of weapon on foot and on horse.
I can’t believe that blades can be curvy and thick.
Where's the kukri?
Thank you for including the Huszárs. Greetings from Hungary, we hope you all have it good.
The Talwar is over simplified here. Talwar means sword in Hindi. There are different types of Talwars throughout the Indian sub continent. The northern kingdoms were influenced by the swords of the Mongol/Turkish/Persian invaders whereas the southern swords were indigenous.
No need to slash a pig in half like that. Show some respect for the animal. A total waste of that life as it was probably just thrown away. Shame on you. I will not visit this channel again.
I love all that are “sharp n’ shiny” but the katana is still my favorite
Pls try Thirupachethi aruval
I thought I might see the Kopis on this list.
How many of these blades will keel?
You missed khukuri sir
Curved weapons are my favorite
But all those pigs, man…Did they get any credit for their part in this show? 🙂 How many stakes you eat after the filming. Please do not tell me you disposed of them as garbage. You can feed a lot of people with those carcasses. Or zoo animals. The syndicate of the domestic animals, especially the pig branch will get very upset if you do not give them the credit they deserve, 🙂 As actor and stuntmen. And they will ask for health and social insurance as well.
And what do you thing about the "Kriegsmesser" (Warknife) in german?
if you can test the sharpness of the Mandau sword, a typical Dayak sword in Borneo, Indonesia
Where is the yatagan ?
" They have curved swords.
Curved. Swords. "
0:14 that is such a beautiful blade
Tulwar is incredibly practical and deadly because of its light weight and sharp curved edge
There are all people, who are stupid in history chanel.
Chinese WWII blades are simple but effective.
romphalia…dacians peopels call this sword Falx the long version and Sica the shorth sword…and yes was a very god sword …
I am Rajput
Not a single human:
Winged hussars: KURWed swords
Please upload all & full episode in hindi
1796 uk light cavalry sabre isnt featured? the french literally protested its use and tried to convince the uk to stop using it during the napoleonic wars due to its effectiveness as a cutting and slashing weapon. should've at least featured it with the sabres as its the best of them all.
The younger guy testing the weapons scare me. He's got bad footwork and I'm afraid he'd lose control and cut something off.
Kora .(khudar) in nepali gorkhali wepon
Second one is khoda.
Where's the Khukri of Gurkha
I'm from Nepal and people here call it khoda not kora
Two of them from our country 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳INDIA🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
the Shamshir/Saif is not featured here?
the Arabian curved sword was so good that it was used through out at least 5 different Muslim Empires.
I'm Nepali and that is not Kora .That is khoda
The thrill past warriors must have felt when they cleaved enemy flesh.😃
Can save me a lot of money on kitchen cutleries if I have one of these fine swords.
Faaaalx from the dacians!
Indian sword were straight not curved…Arabian swords were curved…don't know the basic history..
How can we talk curved weapons with no Khopesh?
I am nepali sir
Number 3, is The Dacian Falx. And yes, it was adapted from The farming tools. IT is not a Tracian weapond. IT is a Dacian weapond, even if dacians and tracians leaved in same period. Tracians where indo-european tribes, where The Dacians are The ancestors of Romanian People!
What a waste of goodmeat…
Anyone know of any other swords similar to the kora?
Most importantly THEY WILL KHEEL.
WiNgEd HuSsArSPolish heroes from the Crusades.
Its not kora its khuda man
Talvar just means sword in hindi btw
I just love sabers.
Me: King Arthur? Yea I love Saber
I am From India …. Thanks for nice informations 👍☺👌
Must know about South Indian weapons 🗡🔪
khoda is a simple tool for us to cut buffaloes 😉🇳🇵
I belong to the Kora family 😂😂😂
I am Rajput and I have Talvar(Sword) of my ancestors from 15th century
Polish Husars 😈 Pure Polish Power 😈
The talwar is just hindi/ urdu for sword
NEPAL is not called as Northern india Nepal is Nepal a single country please be delicate while talking about a nation please🙏🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
I am no expert in saying this but often the correct way to use a curved blade is by using curved strikes, not chopping. Seeing ur demonstration really didnt reveal the full potential n advantage of using such a blade. Using European straight blade techniques on curved blade is just wrong.
Where is the shamshir
My favurite is the hussar saber becouse it’s a hungarian blade
the Falx is the best
1:36Best sombie weapons so far
I’ll take the Kora please
First of all its called a Khuda not a Kora. And gurkhas are from Nepal not India. Please get your facts right if you are going to make a video and post it on TV. This is not the level of research that is expected from a Major TV Channel.
I can't believe no one has made a compilation with Wil Willis announcing the weapons to make."-And that weapon is… The gratcvjhwuakaptchbdf!"
Well, I would do it but Youtube wont allow it.
Not khora,, its khu°da _खुँडा , now that's proper Namaste from Nepal
Talwar is a curved sabre not very different from other sabres
We have our own country name aka NEPAL. stop calling northern india
This show is a joke. If they are experts, I'm a unicorn. What happened to the history?
The pencil in the hands on an expert…(John Wick) would be deadly..
Skallagrim does a very good review on the reverse blade katana where he talks a bit about how a forward curve blade was actually very useful, just not widely used.
Try makeing a "Julfikar Sword"
U frgt sica
No mention of the Kukuri?
Gurkhas are from Nepal. They originated from a kingdom called the gorkha which later expanded to form the country Nepal. The weapon here is known as Khuda and was popularized in the unification campaign by the then king of gorkha Prithvi N. Shah and his descendants.
Dacian Falx made Rome back off.
NAPOLEON HUSARS WERE ALSO POLISH !NAPOLEON GUARD WERE POLES ! HE LOVE THEM THEIR BRAVERY AND GALLANTRY ON BATTLEFIELD AFTER SOMOSSIERRA BATTLE !
You see those warriors from hammerfell? They've got curved swords, CURVED SWORDS!
It seems many miss the main reason for the curved sword. The curve makes a light slashing blade stronger.
The Rhomphaia is practically identical to the Dacian "Falx". Dacia and Thracia have a lot of similarities because they originate from the same ancestor. I'm Romanian, Dacia is ancient Romania.
Did they ever do a Dacian falx?
when david doesn't feature my favorite curved blade: sad kukri noises
During ww2 there was a tale of a soldier using a katana to cut the barrel off of an American machine gun
I am here only to know if it will keel?
Boys use katanas, Men use Hussars.
Hey its khoda firstly not kora and the primary weapon of the gorkhas is khukuri :a legendery curved blade by which a country named NEPAL never got terrotorized, and more importantly you missed it.
My top 5 curved swords
1. Katana2. Kukri3. Cutlass4. Talwar5. Panabas
I’m hoping to see a Falchion build one day
the contestants told to make a weapon called kujang. Kujang is an original weapon from West Java, Indonesia
