2:25 very realistic aviation
@5:52 "It is the largest naval confrontation in the history of mankind" … Wait a minute…. there were ancient navy battles that involved way more ships than Leyte Gulf…. Maybe WW2 or U.S. history, but not Ever on earth….
How could those destroyers stay afloat with there Giant balls made of steel?!
Yeesh Those American DDs really didn’t care if they would die which I’m sure they probably thought they would but they went head on and really took on a Japanese heavy task force these guys are legends American Pride at its best

"When faced with an enemy who's largest gun turrets weigh more than his entire ship, Evans decides that running is boring"-
"He had two choices, he could flight or fight"Just a trainwreck of a sentence. No, he didn't have two choices, he had one choice, flight or fight. He could flight? No, he could flee or fight. How does one perform a noun? With all due respect to 1st Sgt Bodette, who is a caricature of a human being, a cartoonishly militaristic trope of a man, and who talks like toxic masculinity incarnate…Grammar matters, Sergeant.
Yamato – "The Perfect ship at the wrong time"
Shows what kind of guts our guys had to stand up to a supior force. Sorry about spelling. Grande ripped up brain
Evans has balls of steel. 😆 and it's a good thing the Yamato did not push tru. She was at the Ph sea but turned back. And yes this was the largest naval battle.
I thought this was called The Battle of Samar.
Donald Trump will make history
So much raw courage…..our Grandfathers were such great MEN….
An aggressive panic response and spontaneous, independent minded, reaction saved the landings that day.
Mabuhay.. From Philippines
Wrong baldy the yanks are not outgunned at all due to they have the carries with it's aircraft. Aircraft has a longer range and packs a way more punch than 18 inch guns.
The Japanese Navy ceased to exist as a fleet after this battle. What remained lacked fuel, to train or concentrate as a force. Even this battle and some of the dispositions were dictated by fuel problems.
