Art, Art History at Wayne State University

If you’re ever at a loss for inspiration,
all you have to do is walk down the street. Down Woodward alone, you’ve got Detroit Arts
Market, you’ve got MOCAD, you’ve got the DIA. And if you’re not inspired by that, I don’t
know what would inspire you. Communicate with your teachers. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. People want to help you. They really, genuinely care about your future. They’re here to help you succeed. And they don’t accept “OK.” They’re always being like, “You need to make
it better. You need to fully complete it.” But they always pushed us and it was definitely
nice. And you’re able to explore the type of art
that you want to do. If I went to another college, I wouldn’t have
had that. And it’s a good place to be. Because Detroit’s awesome.
